Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy post plastic surgery will help to speed your recovery and help you to get the most from your procedures. Without MLD massages, heal time is tripled, and skin can appear lumpy and uneven. Getting your massages will give you the best outcome.
Your Lymphatic system has two parts to it, a superficial part, and a deep part. With gentle, controlled, specific strokes, fluids are moved to the deeper part of the system. Your body then processes these fluids, and you will urinate them out. So, hydration and sodium control are vitally important.
Post surgery, lymphatic vessels are damaged and need time to grow back. During this time, it is vitally important for you to use your compression garments, watch your diet, hydrate, breathe diaphragmatically, and to also do controlled slow movements.
If you are not draining well, making sure you are being seen by a professional. We can save you thousands of dollars in future surgeries, and unnecessary pain.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage, when done properly by a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, CMLDT, DOES NOT HURT!
When requesting Manual Lymphatic Drainage to improve health when a surgery has not occurred, fluids are rhythmically moved through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, MLD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, to boost the immune system, help reduce swelling from edema, and strengthen resistance to illness. Remember, stagnant fluids are a waste product of the body. If they are not being eliminated, pain and even muscular dysfunction can occur.
Endermologie is a non-surgical procedure and is the first cellulite treatment to be approved by the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine using special cups that are placed on your skin anywhere from a few seconds up to a few minutes.
Here in studio, Medi-cupping machines are used.
This treatment is good for increasing lymphatic drainage, removing toxins, relieving tightness in muscles, scars, and skin to help with pain and itchiness and to smooth out lumps in the tissue. especially good for lipedema.
It can help with inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and general well-being.
It can be light to improve lymphatic flow, or, it can be considered as a type of deep muscle work.
Five minutes of cupping can be equal to 30 minutes of therapy with the hands when done correctly.
This service is complimented by IASTM and magnetic scrapping.

This treatment is perfect for:
NKT® uses manual muscle testing to assess and correct dysfunctions within the muscles, fascia, tendons, and/or ligaments as they are governed by the motor control center of the brain. These movement problems can be caused from injury, repetitive movements, postural imbalances, and over-working, or under-working muscles. Corrections are made quickly, then a new neural pathway is created within the motor control center. To reinforce this new pathway, you will be asked to do a few, easy to do, home movements. Because of this process, results are longer lasting and faster than other techniques. I am the only practicing therapist in the Antelope Valley who uses NKT®. To see another practitioner, you would have to go into Los Angeles. I hold the highest certification as a level 3 therapist.
Polarity therapy is a type of bodywork which is focused on using the energy fields of the body, very much like the energies from a battery. When batteries are put together as in the same energy, or polarity, they repel each other. When using Polarity with muscle testing, and NKT, NeuroKinetic Therapy, muscles fibers that are stuck together can be loosened and separated, in a more painless method. So, instead of digging at the body and possible damaging the tissue. Anatomical knowledge is incorporated to release overworked muscles at the origin and insertion sites to completely relax and loosen muscles fibers allowing for a more complete and more thorough release.
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, yet powerful, technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, mental stress, and improve whole-body health and performance, among other things. It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine (sacrum) and the joints in the cranium (the skull). This therapy provides a very soothing, relaxing, and healing experience. It can be a life changing experience for many people.
IASTM, or (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), is a form of manual therapy. It was taken from TCM, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guasha. Specialized surgical steel instruments or gemstones instruments are used to gently scrape the surface of the skin in an attempt to release the Myofascial structures underneath to eliminate restrictions, toxins, or stagnation, in the body so faster healing and improved range of motion can occur.
Myofascial Release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles, and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia, while incorporating movement; this allows for increased blood circulation, relief from pain, and better range of motion. Through proper testing and assessment, a gentle release is performed and a better movement pattern is established.
If you have a job where you are sitting for long hours, or are doing repetitious movements, this may be the key treatment for you.
During this treatment, I will test your thoracic movement and capacity. I check to see if you have a working core and can properly access the diaphragm. Then once corrections are made, we practice movements to help gain a deeper inhalation and exhalation. I give a home program to assure that neurologically the pathway has been formed.
This treatment is good for anyone who wants to improve their breathing and endurance. It can be a life changing experience for someone suffering from any type of asthma or breathing challenges, including stress-induced asthma, sports-induced asthma, allergy or sinusitis, shortness or shallow breathing.
Neuromuscular therapy is a system of techniques that can help with, headaches, Carpel Tunnel, Plantar Fasciitis, whiplash, neck and back pain, TMJ, and frozen shoulder, just to name a few issues. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process that can be caused by overuse or injury. This overuse when left untested and unchecked, can lead to loss of range of motion, decreased blood flow, and lead to chronic pain.
We are surrounded by EMF's in our daily lives. For health reasons, this is not good to be exposed to them continuously. There are several ways to eliminate or decrease our exposure. A fun and attractive fashionable way is to wear crystals. Certain stones will negate your EMF's. Everyone is different! Being tested to see just which one, or ones work for you, insures you are properly protected. Come in, get tested, and be confident that you are protecting yourself from something that is potentially so harmful.
